2020 Law on Enterprises was adopted in the 9th meeting of the XIVth National Assembly held on June 17, 2020, including certain significant regulations as follows:
Ministry of Industry and Trade promulgates the Circular No. 15/2020/TT-BXD, regarding National Technical Regulation on design requirements for petrol filling stations (QCVN 01:2020/BCT).
The Government has just promulgated the Decree No. 77/2020/ND-CP, elaborating on the control of entry and exit through automated security control gates.
On June 30, 2020, the Ministry of Planning and Investment promulgates the Circular No. 05/2020/TT-BKHDT, amending the Circular No. 04/2017/TT-BKHDT, providing detailed regulations on selection of contractors through the Electronic National Procurement System.
On July 1, 2020, the Government promulgates the Decree No. 75/2020/ND-CP, providing guidelines for the implementation of the 2019 amended Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam.
On July 1, 2020, the Government promulgates the Decree No. 76/2020/ND-CP, regulating eligible citizens, processes, procedures for and authority over grant, withdrawal and revocation of laissez-passers for Vietnamese citizens.
XIVth National Assembly passes the Resolution No. 102/2020/QH14 regarding notification of the European Union-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) in its 9th meeting session.
According to the Resolution No. 107/2020/QH14 regarding extension of the expiration date of agricultural land tax exemption already passed by the XIVth National Assembly in the 9th meeting session on June 10, 2020, the term of agricultural land tax exemption is about to be extended till end of December 31, 2025.
That is mentioned in the Official Dispatch No. 2546/TCT-DNNCN regarding the implementation of the Resolution No. 954/2020/UBTVQH14 dated June 2, 2020.
The Government promulgates the Decree No. 70/2020/ND-CP regarding rates of fees for registration of domestically-produced or assembled motor vehicles to be applied till end of December 31, 2020.
The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs issues the Official Dispatch No. 2161/LDTBXH-BHXH dated June 16, 2020 regarding implementation of regulations on foreign worker’s parental insurance benefits.
On June 19, 2020, the Ministry of Health promulgates the 2020 Circular No. 11/TT-BYT regarding the classification list of active ingredients prohibited or restricted for use in domestic and healthcare pest control and antibacterial products.
On June 12, 2020, the Ministry of Finance promulgates the Circular No. 55/2020/TT-BTC regarding management of budget for training of international students under student exchange agreements that are studying in Vietnam. The Circular sets out the following regulations:
Recently, the Prime Minister has promulgated the Decision No. 19/2020/QD-TTg, prescribing the non-stop electronic collection of road tolls.
This is mentioned in the Circular No. 58/2020/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance, prescribing rates and regimes for collection, payment, administration and use of fees for handling of competition cases.
